I want to be
A moral man;
And do all
The good I might.
Others can't see
What I can;
I'm sitting
On the right.
My convictions are
As hard as steel;
A guiding light
To follow.
Struggling against
How I feel,
I'm moral
When I'm hollow.
I hear the fools
Who disagree,
Try to tell me
I do wrong.
But they are evil
As can be;
They will not
Live for long.
I get all things
I desire;
I await my
Coming bliss.
My burdens may
Make me tire,
But there's nothing
That I miss.
I have no need
To hear you,
For I am
Reborn.
I'm on the path
That is true;
I've fixed what
Had been torn.
Is this how
You want to be?
A moral man like me?
Is this how
You want your life?
Oh so free of strife?
Do you want
To be called good?
And tell others what they should?
Do you want
A life so blessed?
And always pass the moral test?
I tell you
That it's easy,
Not too
Hard to do.
I'll never call
You sleazy,
If you do
The things I do.
Just look in
The mirror,
And then
Turn your back.
Then it will
Be clearer,
Who you should
Attack.
The face you saw
Was not your own,
T'was the face
Of others.
And their world
Must be blown;
Our poor
Unholy brothers.
This is how
We prove our worth,
By taking
All the power.
Man is evil
From his birth;
Before God
He must cower.
For even if
We harm you,
And fill your
Life with fright;
We need to
Control you,
For we are
Always right.
Oh, this
Evil world!
Straying from
God's path!
Our holy stones
Are hurled!
We kill with
Righteous wrath!
And to all
Who try to say,
"You live
"An evil lie!"
Tell them ours
Is The Way,
"It's you who's
"Going to die!"
Do these things
And you'll be saved!
You'll get what
Is deserving.
For righteousness
Is what I crave!
I'm doomed
If I'm self-serving.
